Our trivia games are played in a public AOL chatroom, so AOL's Terms Of Service apply at all times. In addition, in order to make these games an enjoyable experience for all, we have the following special rules:
- Typing in UPPER CASE (all caps) is reserved for the people who are putting on the games.
- Vulgar, obscene or indecent language is discourteous. Don't use it.
- Keep your answers or comments brief. Long lines can interfere with our scorekeeping programs and result in a delay of the game.
- Ongoing private conversations between players are best conducted in IMs.
- Don't ask for a change to another game. Games are prepared and scheduled well in advance. (See Daily Schedule here)
- Keep the focus on the game being played; that is why the other people come to our room.
The Totally LIVE Trivia games are not a service of AOL. They're created and conducted by a staff of volunteers for the mutual benefit and enjoyment of all. Follow our simple, common-sense rules and you'll be welcomed as a participant.
